Critter Ride
Bike Ride Through Omaha's Zoo

Families can ride bikes through Omaha’s Zoo on Saturday, September 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Hosted by Friends of the Omaha Zoo (FOOZ), participants will enjoy grilled hot dogs, chips, drinks and cookies as they explore the Zoo on two wheels until 7:30 p.m. Participants will also enjoy special animal encounters!

FOOZ is a volunteer organization dedicated to the support of the Omaha Zoological Society and the advancement and growth of Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo.

GEICO Gecko Display in Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Pavilion through September 7

Visit the GEICO Gecko exhibit featuring giant Day geckos. Day geckos are a unique group of lizards native to Madagascar and the Indian Ocean islands.

The three-year partnership between GEICO and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) will take the traveling GEICO Gecko exhibit to AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums across the United States and Omaha’s Zoo is thrilled to be apart of this great partnership.

2008 Year of the Frog!

Omaha's Zoo is joining the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and the Amphibian Ark in highlighting 2008 as Year of the Frog, marking a major conservation effort to address the amphibian extinction crisis and engage the public in amphibian conservation.
